Fit my needs perfectly!

I am from Alaska, where cooler bags aren't used as often. I heard about Opah from a few friends that do salmon charters and knew I needed to give one a shot. The Fathom 4 makes Salmon fishing on my small boat so convenient. I can take the bag and put it right in my SUV without worrying about leaking. Ice lasts FOREVER! Awesome product!

Opah Gear Review Out Of the Box

I really love everything about this bag. Only “disappointment” is -the zipper stitching does not go all the way to the ends. As it sits, if it ever fell over- you would have massive leakage in the back of your pickup/car/boat because of this. I also feel if you stitched it all the way however it would become a true “dry bag” and would probably need a different zipper system all together… I think the zipper matches the other zippered kill bags on the market so its not a stopper from buying the bag in my opinion.

Awesome fish bag

Perfect size for multiple king, silver and sockeye salmon on the Columbia and Snake Rivers. Keeps loose ice for two days in 90+ degree weather. Inside pocket is great for eggs, tuna or your drinks/lunch without getting blood all over from fish. Outside pocket fits both my 9” fillet knives easily. Only real complaint is the zippers need bigger pull tabs. Hard to close when it’s cold out or when hands are slimy from fish. Overall, love the bag and would buy again.
