The Fathom 4 fishing cooler is designed to maintain its upright position while being filled and includes an interior waterproof pocket to store filets, beverages, or anything else you want to keep separate and cold. Exterior netting compartments and a spacious pocket with Velcro closure are perfect for storing fishing tools and accessories.

Fit my needs perfectly!

I am from Alaska, where cooler bags aren't used as often. I heard about Opah from a few friends that do salmon charters and knew I needed to give one a shot. The Fathom 4 makes Salmon fishing on my small boat so convenient. I can take the bag and put it right in my SUV without worrying about leaking. Ice lasts FOREVER! Awesome product!

Great bag

This Fathom 4 fits perfectly up front of my W/A cuddy . I use it on Lake Erie walleye fishing. Holds my day catch & opens up my fishing deck to give us more room. I usually fish 2/3 people so 12/18 fish for a days limit. Would add another bag this size if fishing 4/6 people.

Opah Gear Review Out Of the Box

I really love everything about this bag. Only “disappointment” is -the zipper stitching does not go all the way to the ends. As it sits, if it ever fell over- you would have massive leakage in the back of your pickup/car/boat because of this. I also feel if you stitched it all the way however it would become a true “dry bag” and would probably need a different zipper system all together… I think the zipper matches the other zippered kill bags on the market so its not a stopper from buying the bag in my opinion.

The way we build our bags with the flat bottoms prevents the possibility of the bag tipping over, even through rough waters. Our zippers are built to take on the elements (salt and sun), while keeping your catch nice and cold on the inside.
