I’ve used all types of bags but Opah kill bags are by far the best! They hold ice for several days. The zipper is very durable and sowed on with heavy thread. Other bags I’ve used fall apart specially when stuffed with fish but not opah. Very durable bags for all types of outdoorsmen.
Perfect size for multiple king, silver and sockeye salmon on the Columbia and Snake Rivers. Keeps loose ice for two days in 90+ degree weather. Inside pocket is great for eggs, tuna or your drinks/lunch without getting blood all over from fish. Outside pocket fits both my 9” fillet knives easily. Only real complaint is the zippers need bigger pull tabs. Hard to close when it’s cold out or when hands are slimy from fish. Overall, love the bag and would buy again.

I am very happy with my bag. Does not leak all over the back deck of the boat. It holds ice well, the outside pockets I store zip locks and trash bags. The inside pocket is nice, I use it to hold extra drinks keeping it away from the fish. On my last trip I stuffed 120 lbs. of ice,15 halibut and about a dozen miscellaneous rockfish in it. I ordered it on Tuesday and it was on my doorstep the next day.
Put 6 16lb bags of ice in at 6AM. Went 40 miles out in the Gulf in 94 degree heat. All 6 bags were still full and had a thin layer of water from melting. I will swear by and stick to Opah bags!!!
This thing is extremely well built. I have several other bags from other companies and will be selling them to buy more Opah bags.

I am new to PWC fishing and recently purchased the Fathom 4 to carry on the back of my Fish Pro Trophy. I had been trying to decide between Opah Gear or another manufacturer. After reading the reviews, the insulation thickness and the fact Opah is handmade, I was sold on Opah. When I received my Fathom 4 I was absolutely blown away at the quality. This is a very well made kill bag! Between the insulation, the drain plug, and the heavy duty carry handles this thing is an absolute beast. I am sure this bag will last me quite a while.
I haven't had the chance to use it yet. But this bag looks and feels awesome. It's large enough for tuna from albacore to big eye. Can't wait for summer to break the cherry on this bag

Bag is awesome holds tons of fish and ice and holds the ice pretty well but mine leaks and i dont know why. One of Opah's biggest things is their bags dont leak so not sure if mine is defective or what.
